TCS London Marathon 2027 For The Royal British Legion

My Story
Running the London Marathon is a challenge I’m proud to take on, not just personally, but for a cause that means a great deal to me. I’m raising money for the Royal British Legion, a charity I have the privilege of working for as the Poppy Appeal Manager for Dorset, while also serving as a Reservist with C Company, 6 RIFLES.
Through both my civilian role and military service, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work the Royal British Legion does to support serving personnel, veterans, and their families. From financial assistance and recovery support to mental health services, rehabilitation, employment guidance, and lifelong care, the Legion stands beside the Armed Forces community in times of need.
The Poppy Appeal is recognised across the country, but the work of the Royal British Legion continues every single day of the year. Behind every poppy is a real person, a real family, and real support that changes lives.
Taking on the London Marathon is my way of giving back and helping ensure that support remains available for those who have served our country. Every mile I run will be for the Armed Forces community, and every donation - no matter the size - will make a genuine difference.
This journey is incredibly important to me, not only because of the cause, but because I’m also doing it to inspire my little boy, he often runs beside me during training, and I hope this journey teaches him the value of perseverance, compassion, and giving back to others.
If I can inspire him to believe he can achieve difficult things while helping people along the way, then every mile will be worth it
If you are able to support my fundraising, thank you. Your generosity will help the Royal British Legion continue its vital work for serving personnel, veterans, and their families across the UK.
Together, we can make sure no member of the Armed Forces community faces hardship alone.
