As I approach my 40th birthday, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to celebrate this milestone. Running has become a huge part of my life—I'm out there 5 days a week, and spending that much time outdoors constantly reminds me how beautiful, yet fragile, our natural world is.

 

Because I love animals and nature so much, I’ve decided to take on the ultimate challenge for my 40th: running a marathon! To make it truly meaningful, I am raising vital funds for WWF.
