London Marathon 2027 – In Memory of My Mum

In 2027, I'll be taking on the challenge of the London Marathon in memory of my mum, who sadly passed away in June 2017 following a devastating asthma attack.

Losing her so suddenly changed our lives forever. She was a loving mum, and not a day goes by when she isn't thought about or missed. Ten years on, I wanted to do something that honours her memory while supporting a cause that is close to my heart.

I'm raising money for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity that provides vital support to people living with asthma and lung conditions, funds life-changing research, and works to prevent other families experiencing the loss that ours did.

Training for a marathon will be one of the toughest things I've ever done, but it feels like a fitting way to remember my mum and make a positive difference in her name.
