My Story

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!

In April 2027, I'm setting out to complete the 2027 London Marathon and raise as much money as I can for the Music Venue Trust. Keeping grassroots music venues alive is something I am extremely passionate about. Being able to go and see live music should be accessible to everyone without the extreme cost, and these venues desperately need our support to allow a new wave of artists and fans to start somewhere that is affordable and inclusive!

This is not my first rodeo!!! I did the Manchester Marathon back in 2022 when I was 18 (and insane), however this time I am going in with a bit more fear but a LOT more running influencers to keep me motivated. I am not the best, or fastest runner - I honestly just enjoy the peace and being able to get out the house and move so don't expect any crazy times, this is all for fun (until mile 19đŸ«Ł)!

Thank you so much for reading! I should probably go on a run now...

Some more about this event:

For one year only, the world-famous TCS London Marathon will expand into a two-day event for its 2027 edition. Taking place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April 2027, this one-off format change will see LME transform the TCS London Marathon - already the most popular marathon on the planet - into a spectacular two-day celebration. The expanded event will further elevate the global impact of the TCS London Marathon, which in 2025 was recognised as the No. 1 marathon brand in the world.

The unique Double format will welcome 100,000 participants across the two days, all taking on the same iconic route, from Greenwich to Westminster, in what will be an unprecedented weekend of sport, charity and community celebration.

About us

The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.

Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.

What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
